How much does it cost to list a refurbished/repaired device on WRTechPlus.com?
If it's a saleable repair-to-sell item like a laptop, tablet or smartphone (I've determined that it can be repaired it vs it being disposed as trash), to you it's completely FREE with the understanding that the sale of the item is what enables me to be compensated for the labor and parts getting it fixed.
Put another way, this is a transparent Win-Win scenario, we agree to profit share and at the point of being sold at the realistic price YOU set, you are paid minus what it cost to fix (parts and my labor) . -
Who are your clientele and what can I expect as a customer?
My clients have ranged from private individuals and independent professional with personal computing devices (desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablets, security cameras and printers) that the Internet to small companies with several PCs sharing file & print resources via Small Office networks that may or may not have websites that aid in administration, advertising, data collection & dissemination and outreach.

If I became a customer, of what benefit are your services?
Our instinct is to adopt a WIN-WIN transparent approach to doing business. Where industry standard best practices can be brought to the table, every effort to implement them will be made. Where research is needed, it is stated upfront.
To save you money, I tend to perform in dept troubleshooting, research open source alternatives to pricey software or compare vendors product prices and shipping times. Where/when parts are replaced, you will provided receipts, the replaced parts and have this all detailed on your invoice that services as your work log for future reference. -
What makes your services different to your competitors?

- If there a spares available, we can loan you one while your device is being serviced.
- Where possible we can test components and perform repairs in your presence.
- We provide receipts from third party vendors and return swapped out parts.
- Our Invoices serve as a maintenance log with copies being sent to your email
- Provided that there is an Internet connection, we provide courtesy follow up service by remote access or by service request

How long do repairs and/or upgrades take?
This depends on the availability of parts locally and the complexity of repair upgrades (hardware and software). For hardware related jobs, some parts must be sourced overseas while on the software end, personal files must be backed up and then restored (sometimes along with reisnstalling applications). Typically, on the low end, this takes anywhere from a couple business days to a maximum of six (6) weeks in the case of parts being imported from abroad.

Do you offer discounts and how can I earn one?
Yes - bundles (a device and matching accessories) are by default discounted. The random unplanned 'freebie' also counts as a discount. And the simplest way to earn one is to become repeat customer closely followed by referring other customers like yourself.

Do you deliver, to where and what does it cost?
Subject to change in the near future but as of now, until further notice, we are NOT offering delivery services.

What is the average warranty period given on repairs & refurbished items?
Typically labor is warrantied for 3 months and 6 months on the parts used unless the hardware manufacturers specify otherwise. Undeniable proof of tampering or installing other than recommended software immediately voids it.

Where do you source your replacement parts?
If they are available locally, from hardware vendor partners: MegaBits, Power Net PC Limited (Powernetpctt.com), Computer Cyber Store Limited (Computercyberstore.com), Super Technologies Ltd. (Supertechtt.com) and The Wizz Computers Limited (thewizzcomputers.com).
If parts are proprietary, they will need to be imported via online purchase: Ebay, Amazon and other Computer parts vendors in the US and China. -
Do you do housecalls or on premises servicing?
Short answer - rarely ..and only if you are a long time customer and cannot bring the device to the repair depot where the right equipment can be used to troubleshoot and repair it properly. This method is preferred to do it right the first time to save us both some time. The other circumstance is when it requires cable management to be set up back in its native work environment and configured to reconnected to your network after an ugrade.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash and cheques are always accepted. I have also been paid in part with devices, PC components, etc.. If there is value in what is being offered (like referring lucrative customers/clients that will pay or promoting my service for a discounted rate), I will also consider it so that we can come to an agreed dollar amount BEFORE you are invoiced.
